A resume should include your contact information, a summary or objective statement, your work experience, your education, and any relevant skills or certifications. It is important to tailor your resume to the specific job or industry you are applying for. It is useful to keep an up to date master resume that you can amend highlighting the most relevant skills and experiences to the job you are applying for.

1. Start with your name, address, phone number and email address.

2. Next, write a summary or objective statement that highlights your relevant qualifications and experience.

3. List your work experience in reverse chronological order starting with the most recent one, including job titles, employers, dates of employment, and responsibilities and accomplishments.

4. Include your education, including the name of the degree, the field of study, the school and the date of graduation.

5. Add any relevant skills or certifications, such as proficiency in a certain software or language.

6. Make sure your resume is clean, well-organized, and easy to read. Use bullet points and action verbs.

7. Customize your resume for each job application and proofread for grammar and spelling errors.

Remember to keep your resume concise, highlighting your most relevant experience and achievements.
